Today I am excited to share some exciting news about the Elko County Real Estate Market for the year ending 2015!Let me share the Elko Real estate market first:The year end market in 2015 closed with 10 less home sales and an overall average sales price of $252,000.Now the Spring Creek market ended up a bit different than Elko with 42 more home sales and ended with an average sales price of $223,000.So we really have some changes taking place with what’s happening the Spring Creek market this month……We are noticing a big decrease in the number of homes for sale in Spring this month..meaning last year in February there were 122 homes on the market and today in SC we only have 85 homes on the market (that is a 40% in the number of homes for sale now! so if you are on the fence to buy a home, Do not delay because the demand is high and the prices are still low…With our economy very steady in Elko this would tell us that we are most likely going to see price increases in the Spring Creek Real Estate market.Now lets go back to Elko for a moment:The Elko market has been fantastic! We have seen a steady average sales price for a number of years and have had a shortage of homes listed for quite a while.So the really great news is this, if you are thinking of selling it is a hot market!
